Club Championships 2023
23rd and 24th September: The Club Championships
To enter the Club Championships, please enter online if possible.
You will need to login with you LTA Account details. Alternatively, please send your name and which competition(s) you'd like to enter, to Keith (keithbrownwithdean@hotmail.com) by September 16th.
If you are entering a doubles competition, please include the name of your partner.
Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies' Singles, Ladies' Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
Players can choose their preferred partners for the doubles competitions and the winners of each competition will go on the boards in the Clubhouse.
The format of the matches will depend on the numbers of people entering - it may be best of three sets, with a championship tie break for the third set, or Fast Four format, where sets are first to four games.
Finals of each of the competitions will be held on Sunday 24th, when we hope to have spectators to support the players.
30th September and 1st October: The Alternative Tournament
To enter the Alternative Tournament, please send your name and which competition(s) you'd like to enter, to Jayne (jaynedempster@live.co.uk) by September 16th.
Men's Doubles, Ladies' Doubles, Mixed Doubles - but players cannot choose their own partners, the aim being to give everyone a chance of winning some games. Pairings will be balanced so that everyone gets good games. We encourage you all to enter.
Again, the format of the matches will depend on the number of people entering, and the finals will be played on Sunday 1st October. We also hope to have a BBQ on 1st October.
